Our latest shared ownership boat ‘Eos' is launched

Shareholders celebrated the launch of ‘Eos’ (Named after the Goddess of dawn) with their co-owners at Alvechurch Marina on Sunday 4th September.

Shareholders were delighted to see their  completed boat for the first time and came from all over the country to celebrate.  Mr and Mrs Watson had drawn the first week away on Eos and were planning to head towards Birmingham along the Worcester and Birmingham canal on her maiden voyage.

Maia was launched by Edward Helps, ABC Leisure Group’s Managing Director and was assisted by Mrs Watson who pouredchampagne over the bow of Eos as he proposed a toast and explained the meaning behind the name of the boat which had been built at Alvechurch Marina by local craftsmen.
